City Springs Elementary /Middle School is a neighborhood charter school operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project. We’re a different type of charter school. Other charter schools are lottery only. We serve our neighborhood zone first, then we go to a lottery.
Who Can Enroll?
Any Kindergarten through 8th grade child living or moving into the neighborhood zone may enroll at any time, without participating in a lottery.
If you live in this zone, call or email the school to enroll.
We also serve non-zoned elementary and middle school students throughout Baltimore City.
If there are no vacancies at the time, students can be added to a waitlist or upcoming lottery.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism
We foster a safe, inclusive, supportive, joyful school community culture.
Our full-time Director of Equity and Anti-racism leads the school in creating a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. We recognize the detrimental, negative impact of institutional racism, particularly on students of color, and actively combat systemic issues by:
- Creating policies and practices and discussing all school-wide decisions through an equity lens
- Implementing a curriculum that supports equitable outcomes
- Ensuring an empowering education for our scholars
Baltimore Curriculum Project, along with Baltimore City Public Schools, fosters a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment of learning for all students, families, and employees.
